Summary

Speak to yourself like you’d speak to a friend.

It’s easy to look around at the world’s struggles and feel guilty for your own. That’s what I was doing, and I was going in a downward spiral until I was pausing and reminding myself of the advice I give to others.

In this raw and vulnerable episode, I share a recent experience of self-doubt and shame and the lessons I learned about acknowledging our own humanity. Compassion isn’t a finite resource; it’s a practice we must extend to ourselves first. If you’ve ever felt like you’re barely holding it together while hiding it from everyone, this episode is for you.
